Birds

I found this image on my phone while looking for information on a document that I inadvertently photographed. I'm not sure of the date, but I remember being stumped at work and letting loose on my "to-do" list. I'm not sure what kind of bird this is, but I'm proud of his moderately believable body structure.

Back to The Grind.

On Hold

While my son is snoring away in my Aunt-in-law's hammock, I decided to come back home and update my sketch blog.

Calling doctor's offices for RSVPs can be very tiring. Somewhere around call 104 and 105, a person's brain can start thinking in the abstract; none of one's ideas tie together.

I want to get more tattoos, and ideally would get a half-sleeve or a calf done. The tattoo would be comprised of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, possibly Scar from The Lion King, and a mishmash of designs and ideas connecting them together. All my personal artwork, of course.

But for now, I'll just have ideas from being on hold for 10 minutes at a time.

Sketch Blog

I figured I'd kick off this sketch blog with a Sesame Street image.

In the last few weeks, as my son is growing old enough to be able to sit still and pay attention to short spurts of entertainment, I've been watching a lot of Sesame Street. I have been especially fascinated with Carroll Spinney, the man who plays Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch.

And now he's Big Bird. How badass is that?
